Yes, Green Genie can bite into the paint and dull the surface or if left on too long, remove it. It’s best to protect your trailer with plastic or at the very least rinse it well with water and keep it wet during the cleaning process. For cleaning the outdrive, use Algex. It’s made especially for cleaning aluminum and the effect on paint is minimal.
