What products do you recommend for cleaning and sealing the tube on a used Zodiac.
Curt Asked:
I just purchased a used 2008 Zodiac Pro Open 650. I would like to know which products you suggest for cleaning and I am being told there is a sealant for the Hypalon Tubes. Could you provide me with some recommendations.

That’s a nice boat. Congratulations! I’m sure that you’ll get a lot of use and pleasure from it.
Use Speed Clean to clean and restore the tube as well as the fiberglass. Poly Guard is the protective coating for sealing the tube, restoring the shine, preventing scuffs and chalking and making the tube easy to clean and maintain.
I would also recommend Repelin, below the waterline to reduce marine attachment, make clean up easier as well as improve the performance and reduce fuel consumption. Seal and shine the non-skid decks with Sure Step. It will restore the original shine and make clean up much easier. For regular maintenance, you can use Inflatable Boat Cleaner for the tube and Kwik Shine for the engine cowling and helm. EZ Vinyl Cleaner is ideal for cleaning the seats. It’s a powerful cleaner but won’t damage the stitching or the vinyl. And, protect the vinyl seats with Vinyl Guard.
The only other products you may need, if the bottom is fouled or stained from marine growth is Inflatable Bottom Spray, or if you have heavy growth or Barnacles, then use Foul Off.
I think that’s it. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for your question,
