Strip wax from New Fiberglass Boat before VS721

When VS721 Bottom Coat is applied to a new boat, will the wax need to be stripped before application?

Hi Craig,

I assume by wax; you’re referring to the mold release coating used during manufacture of a fiberglass boat.

The answer is Yes. Spray Boat Clean Plus onto the wet fiberglass and use a Marine Power Mitt to scrub well. Rise well and allow to dry completely before applying VS721.
