Marine Power Mitt capabilities
Doug asked:
Hi, I was wondering if you guys offer anything besides the power mitt for cleaning the top sides of my express cruiser? Hand washing with that small mitt on my hands and knees does not sound like much fun! Do you offer anything that can be put on an extension handle that is comparable in performance to the power mitt?
By the way, very happy with the products I’ve purchased thus far!
Thanks
Doug

We experimented with that, but did not have a lot of success. The Marine Power Mitt is intended for scrubbing, removing oxidation, scuffs and stains, not washing. It’s also intended for getting into tight areas and following the curves of the boat. When we tried mounting it on a pole, we found that we were missing too many spots and then when you put polish on top, you could see the streaks where you missed and had to scrub all over again. So far the hand mitt with the scrub balls and power pad is the right answer. The good news is that you should only have to use it once a year or if you have an “Oops”, then it’s the most valuable tool you have.
I know that the hands and knees thing doesn’t sound like much fun. The Marine Power Mitt was invented to relieve the drudgery by cutting the labor and effort required to get the surface properly prepared for polish. The fun part comes when you see your clean, shiny boat appear.
Thanks for the compliment. We try very hard to produce the best products on the market and we’re very glad that you’re happy with them.
Thanks for your question,
