Hi Tim,
“like friggin magic!!!” is a new one. Most of our customers just call Boat Clean Plus® a miracle cleaner. Thanks for the compliment. We never get tired of hearing them. Boat Clean Plus® is one of the products that Aurora Marine was founded on in 1980, and 45 years later, it’s still one of our top selling products. There’s a lot of boat owners that agree with you.
To answer your question, one bottle of Boat Clean Plus® is 16 oz., a gallon is 128 oz. so, there’s the equivalent of 8 bottles in a gallon. A gallon is usually about 25% cheaper than buying 8 bottles, because there’s less packaging and labor involved so the money we save is passed on to you when you buy in bulk, and it’s more environment friendly because you’re consuming less packaging, so it’s a Win, Win, Win.
The only downside to buying gallons of Boat Clean Plus® , instead of bottles, is that it doesn’t come with the convenient spray bottle. A lot of our customers buy the bottle and then the gallon to refill the bottle or they buy one of each. It’s such a versatile product that you can use for safely cleaning everything so a lot of our customers buy and use gallons. I don’t know what you’ve tried cleaning with Boat Clean Plus®, but it really is amazing. It can clean welders smut from aluminum boats and red wine stains from delicate silk blouses; food and beverage spills from upholstery and pet urine from carpets, even red wine and blood, from white carpets; divers and surfers use it for cleaning their stinky wet suits (yes, they urinate in their wet suits, when it’s impossible to take a bathroom break); it’s a convenient boat wash that doesn’t leave a soap scum residue, just wet the boat and spray a fine mist on the surface, the water dilutes it and activates it’s cleaning power, use a sponge or mop and rinse clean (no need to mix in a bucket, unless you really want to); it’s an amazing jewelry cleaner (makes diamonds sparkle like they were brand new and gold shine) and can be used to remove scent from fishing lures to increase strikes by up to 30%.; my wife uses it in the laundry to clean ring around the collar, in the kitchen to clean grease and oil splatter around the stove, and in the bath to clean the fiberglass sinks, tubs and surrounds without scratching, and for cleaning patio furniture; you can wash smoke, grease and crayon from walls, without removing the paint and when mixed with weed killer on your lawn will make the weed killer penetrate deeper so you don’t need as much and it will be more effective. Plus, it’s safe for all surfaces, biodegradable and environment friendly. I’m sure there’s a few hundred more uses I’ve left out. So, maybe you’re right, Boat Clean Plus® is “like friggin magic”.
Thanks for your question,
Captain Aurora
