How to Lift Your Tritoon?

  Skipper

Michael Treadway asked:

will this boat lifting also work on a tri-toon?

ANSWER:
For your convenience, I’ve highlighted the hyperlinks. Click on the hyperlink to get more information about the selected product.

Hi Michael,

Yes, the principals are the same with the previous post about how to lift your pontoon.

You may have to support the boat at the back of the pontoons, under the rear cap or if you can, under the frame between the pontoons.

If you support the frame, try to use wood, about 2"x 8" or 2" x 10" by about 24 or 36" long to spread the load over several of the stringers.

If you’re supporting the front of the boat under the pontoons, be sure to place the blocks where there is a baffle for maximum strength.

At the front, it’s better to block the frame.

Thanks for your question,
