How Much Algex Do I Need to Clean My Pontoons?
Chuck Stowe asked:
My pontoon boat is 30 ft. long (2 toons).
What will be the amount of Aurora Algex needed for my unit?
And could you give me an estimate on cost?
Answer:
For your convenience, I’ve highlighted the hyperlinks. Click on the hyperlink to get more information about the selected product.
The amount of Algex you require is dependant on the amount and type of growth that you have on the bottom. On bottle will normally clean average growth from a 20 to 22 ft pontoon boat. Heavy growth or barnacle attachment can require multiple coats and therefore more product. If your pontoons are stained, use Alumabrite CBX to brighten and restore them. VS721 Bottom Coat will help prevent future attachment of marine growth.
