How do I clean and protect my stern when nothing else works?

  Skipper

Ernie Bivona asked:

Assuming I do not use Poly Glow on the stern and use a cleaner/wax such as Starbrite and that does not work, what would you recommend?

Answer:

For your convenience, I’ve highlighted the hyperlinks. Click on the hyperlink to get more information about the selected product.

I recommend that you deep clean the surface with Boat Scrub and then use a more durable synthetic polish like Premium Boat Shine or if the problem of soot and salt spots are excessive then use VS721. When these polishes are applied, you should be able to remove the soot and salt with Boat Clean Plus and a rinse with fresh water.

Thanks for your question,
