No. Vinyl Guard does not contain silicone. It’s a 3rd generation protector and much more advanced than its solvent and silicone based predecessors. You can easily tell the difference when you run your hand over the vinyl. Vinyl Guard feels dry, not greasy or oily, you won’t slide all over the place and it won’t stain you clothes. The vinyl feels more supple and luxurious. It doesn’t wash off with water and each application will last up to 3 months or more. It also restores the plasticizers lost to the sun and ozone attack.
For Guaranteed Results, be sure to clean your vinyl with Boat Clean Plus before applying Vinyl Guard.
