Do You Need to Dilute Green Genie to Remove Algae?
Terah A. asked:
Do you mix Green Genie with anything? We are trying to decide the amount of Green Genie that we need. Do you mix this with water? And do you put it on twice? What is the ratio for one bottle?

Use Green Genie full strength. You can either spray it on, using a garden sprayer or apply it with a paint roller. Apply Green Genie to dry algae. Do not wet the surface.
Allow the Green Genie to work for about 30 minutes and then power wash it clean or use a garden hose with a jet spray and a scrub brush.
After, use Boat Scrub and a Marine Power Mitt to remove any remaining stains and scuffs. The Marine Power Mitt is reusable. Rinse it clean and allow it to air dry. It can last for years.
I recommend protecting the boat bottom with VS721 when you’re through to reduce future marine growth attachement and seal the pores in the gelcoat to prevent boat pox (osmosis blisters). During the season, if you’re able to wipe the slime off the bottom from time to time as it appears, your boat bottom will stay clean all summer and you’ll get better fuel economy.
You can wipe the slime off by pulling the boat or by wiping the bottom with a Marine Power Mitt while the boat is in the water. Many boaters take their boat out to a shallows and while at anchor, while swimming around the boat, they give the bottom of the boat a wipe. If you have a large boat, you may need a snorkel and mask.
