Cleaning Scum Build Up
Bill Sims asked:
I am in the process of restoring my aluminum v-hull boat. I have removed seating and flooring in able to re-place loose rivets that were leaking. The spray foam flotation and exposed aluminum has a scum build-up that I need to remove before replacing rivets. What product do you recommend ?

Boat Clean Plus is your best solution. It’s a water based, water activated cleaner/degreaser that is very effective at removing scum. It is safe for all surfaces so it won’t damage the foam or the aluminum and it’s free rinsing so it won’t leave a residue which could affect the adhesion of adhesives, new foam or any coating you may apply. It’s also environment friendly.
Thanks for your question,
