Yes, VS721 can be used on new aluminum pontoon tubes.

First you need to clean them well with Boat Clean Plus to remove any contaminants from the manufacturing and shipping process. For best results, I recommend that you also apply Alumetron clear coat before applying VS721. That way it will protect your pontoons better, improve performance, reduce fuel consumption and give you a 3 year warranty. Alumetron is easy to apply. Just wipe it on and allow it to dry and cure. Application of VS721 is to wipe it on with a sponge and when it hazes up, wipe the haze away.
