VS721 BOTTOM WAX

Product Description

Aurora VS 721 BOTTOM COATis a perfectly clear bottom wax that utilizes the super slippery characteristics of VS721 fouling release polymer for its properties. It is easily applied with a damp sponge or cloth and buffed to a high shine.

For best results the boat bottom must be clean and dry. De-wax with Aurora Boat Clean Plus and deep clean with Aurora Boat Scrub. Remove algae, barnacles and mussels with Aurora Algae Strip and waterline stains with Aurora Waterline Stain Remover.

(NOTE: Aurora VS721 Bottom Coat can NOT be applied over existing antifouling paint.)

The finish is clear, shinny and very slippery. Your boat bottom will look like new. One bottle will protect a 25 foot boat with one coat.

·      Normal running of the boat will keep hull clean of algae and slime.

How the Pros Do It - Tips & Tricks

1.       Apply with a large damp sponge. Application is faster and easier.

2.       Use pressure to force wax into microscopic pores and crevices. This seals the pores against osmosis blistering.

3.       For large surfaces, apply with a low speed orbital buffer so that more pressure can be applied.

4.       Apply 2 coats, minimum 24 hr. drying time between coats. Wait minimum 48 hours from the last coat before launching.

5.       Buff residue off with old terry towel. A brilliant, better than new, shine will result.

6.       If slime or light algae appears (usually on the transom or waterline) wipe off with sponge or deck brush as required.
