How the Pros Do It - Tips & Tricks
1. The surface must be perfectly clean and free of stains prior to applying Aurora Sure Step, otherwise the dirt or stain will be set into the gel coat and may become indelible.
2. Use only Aurora Boat Clean Plus and Aurora Boat Scrub to prep the surface. Other cleaners may not be compatible, or contain contaminants that will inhibit the performance of Aurora Sure Step.
3. Save time and effort. Scrub non-skid decks with a 1 to 4 solution of Aurora Boat Clean Plus. Before rinsing, squirt Aurora Boat Scrub onto wet surface and rescrub with the deck brush. Rinse clean and let dry.
4. Make sure that the surface is perfectly dry. Aurora Sure Step will not adhere properly to wet or damp surfaces.
5. Use a soft bristled brush on sandy or aggressive textures instead of a cloth or sponge.
6. A shoe brush is excellent for buffing the non-skids to a shine and removing residue from the groves and hollows.
What Others Say
"I used SURE STEP on the decks of my 1976 34ftSearay. It looked so good that I got 3 offers to buy the boat."
Ed B., Toronto
"Wanted you to know that I am very impressed with your Sure Step product. It made old non-skid look new without slipping. I have recommended it to many in our harbor."
B. Smyrniotis, St. Louis
"Before, the non-skid would seem to suck up dirt, and I would have to scrub it every time I walked on it. Sure Step certainly does what you say it does. It was not slippery at all. When I rinsed my footprints, they just went away . . . You have saved me a ton of work. I was going to refinish the topsides of this boat. I will not have to do that now. SURE STEP has brought back that factory new glow."
Steve Kennerly, The Catalina Project
"We heard nothing but good news about this wonder product. When we tried your SURE STEP on our non-skid decks we were amazed and delighted. Thank you and everyone that convinced us to try it."
